Welcome to our website! We hope you find these pages interesting and helpful. Essentially they tell you something about who we are and what we are about.

The Sisters of the Order of Saint Basil the Great are now into their 103rd year of service to the Ukrainian Catholic Church in America! Since 1911, when Mother Helena Langevych and three Sister companions came to America from Ukraine at the request of Metropolitan Stephen Soter Ortynsky to serve the Church over 100 Sisters have had the joy to touch many thousands of lives – and be touched – during their service to the Lord and the Church.

We are excited about our mission and direction. At our most recent Provincial Chapter Meeting, we pledged ourselves to become a Hub of Eastern Christian Spirituality in the United States; to reverence the sacredness of God’s creation; and to work toward personal transformation. Our website discusses the implementation of these and other initiatives.
